Vintage 1947-1953? OLD CROW BOTTLED IN BOND 1/10 Pint Miniature Glass Bottle Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey!
ESTATE FIND! From a mini bottle collection comes a very nice old Old Crow bottle, distilled by the Old Crow Distillery Company in Frankfort, Kentucky!
The glass bottle has a metal cap and features a two-piece paper label (on front and back). Green Bottled-in-Bond 100-Proof federal tax strip is still sealed on the cap & neck, with a Fall 1947 production date, and what appears to be Fall 1953 bottling date (it's hard to make out the last digit, look and decide for yourself - I photographed it with the flash on and off to give you the best view). Orange Colorado state tax stamp is complete on the side, but again - the date is hard to make out - August 6, but the year is unclear. Early 50's regardless, as the bottom of the bottle is embossed with the Owens-Illinois Glass Company logo which was discontinued in 1954.
Condition is overall good for age, with normal minor paper wear, remnants of a grease pencil pricing on the glass, a bit of rust on the cap, and some red paint dried on the bottom (likely sat on a painted shelf for years). However, as you can see - it will display great! Please have a good look and decide for yourself, selling as is. I made no attempt to clean it - you get it how I found it.
