Vintage Wood Shaft Golf Set Burke Burr Key Built Classic Brass Insert 7+ Putter

Here is an auction for a wonderful vintage complete wood shaft golf set.  The set is Burr Key Built (Burke) Classic with a brass insert on each club.  The set consists of the following 8 clubs:
1- Driving Iron
2- Mid Iron
3- Mashie Iron
4- Mashie
5- Jigger
6- Spade Mashie Niblick
7- Niblick
9K- Putter
The clubs are in very nice shape and could be polished I guess but I wanted to keep the original patina on the brass inserts.  The wood shafts are nice and straight (a couple have very slight bends but not significant).  The grips are nice but a couple show some scuffing (as seen in pictures) and some whipping was replaced.  Overall nice condition for hanging or play use.
This is one of the truly classic wood shafted sets - The highest end of the Burke production.  You may see individual clubs for this set out there but try finding one that is complete, original and in condition to boot.  If you're a hickory hacker, this would be hickory hacking in style.  Very few people could match this set.  Just starting to thin out a 30 year accumulation of wood shaft clubs - stay tuned.
