Vintage Unusual Drake's Flex-O-Feel Putter

This item is a vintage right-handed 34 1/2" steel shaft putter. It is a mallet style putter that is almost center shafted. Marked John F. Drake Ponca City, OK, Patented and Drake's Flex-O-Feel. It has a section of material in the lower portion of the shaft that I believe is supposed to flex a little to give the user a bit more feel. The head is in good vintage condition. The head is clean and not all rusted and has the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old apparently original stepped steel. The grip is the apparently original rubber that is dry and slick with age and missing a little rubber at the bottom. For the unusual putter collector. Fun putter to play with or collect.
Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3
-pound
box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of I receive .50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
