Vintage MacGregor 144 Perry Como Mallet Putter

This item is a vintage right-handed 34 1/2" steel shaft putter from the 1960's. It is an aluminum mallet putter with brass insert and off-set hosel. Made by MacGregor. It is their Model 144 with Perry Como's signature on it. The head is in good vintage condition. The head is clean and not all rusted and has the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old apparently original stepped steel. The grip is the apparently original long leather wrap. A bit dry from age but in good condition with black center butt cap that is missing about 1/3 of the plastic. I bet this putter will sing you a song when it makes a putt. Fun putter to play with or collect.
Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3
-pound
box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of I receive .50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
