Miller & Kreisel
6½ inch woofer
that was removed a from an
M&K
Satellite 2B speaker, made c.1987.  M&K had contracted Denmark’s esteemed
Vifa
to manufacture this high-quality mid/bass driver.  It’s possible this woofer was used in other M&K speakers, but buyer is responsible for verifying its compatibility with their needs.
So, please have a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this superlative mid/bass woofer should become yours.

The woofer is in clean, excellent overall condition.  The sturdy poly cone and textile voice coil dust cap are both in perfect shape.  Plus, the
permanent
rubber surround is flawless.  Also, the removable plastic flange cover has no cracks while the
very large
ceramic-ferrite magnet has a few very small edge chips.  And, the double-type +/- terminals have primaries that measure the industry-standard .205” and they’re marked for polarity.  Overall, this capable woofer looks practically new!
Most importantly, I’ve tested it fully and it sounds great—strong and clear with fast, detailed midrange and solid low-end for the platform size.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 3.8Ω, consistent with a nominal 4 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the basket measures 6½” diameter (6 11/16” with flange cover on), it stands 3⅜” tall, and the mount holes are spaced 4 5/16” adjacent / 6⅛” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
This is a great find if your Satellite 2B or other suitable M&K speaker has a blown or damaged woofer and will have your speakers sounding their finest once again!  It’s been discontinued for many years, so it would make a smart spare to have on hand for future needs as well.
