Vintage Hickory Shaft Otey Crisman 60* Lob Wedge

This item is a vintage right-handed 34 1/2" wood shaft wedge. It is a wide sole LOB wedge marked Otey's Hickory Lob Wedge 60. Made by Otey Crisman of Selma, AL. Talked to Otey III about this one and he says they were made in the 80's after Callaway stopped making their Hickory Stick wedges and they didn't make very many of them. Unlike the Callaway Hickory Sticks that had a steel rod in the center, this wedge has a solid hickory shaft. You don't see this wedge offered very often. The head is in very good vintage condition and doesn't look like it was used much, if at all. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old apparently original hickory. The shaft is straight, and I see no cracks. The grip is the apparently original long leather wrap. It too is in very good condition. Fun wedge to play with.
Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3
-pound
box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of I receive .50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
