VINTAGE Golf Set Bobby Jones Jr. 80+ years old plus BJ Jr. irons, bag & balls

This complete golf club set was passed down after the owner passed away.... they are in EXCELLENT condition for being made in 1930's-1940's...matched set....serialized number on iron set. The original club head covers are included and are in very good shape as well for being so old.
This is a VINTAGE persimmon woods set accompanied by classic irons of their day and the steel shafts are painted and epoxied to look like "bamboo"....but are cushioned neck shafts and iron club heads are in great shape, but signs of continual use.
ALL Spaulding golf clubs have original grips, including the WALTER HAGEN "sure shot" putter with original leather grip and tapered end to fit the palm nicely.
The canvas golf bag was purchased in that era 1930's-1940's shows wear....does not have the original carry strap and the leather compartment separation strap broke but the buckle and original leather are on the bag. All zippers and snaps are in tact and still work.
The ball compartment holds (6) golf balls. I have included (5) which have the Lee Trevino, Cary Middlecoff and Gene Littler stamped autographs, plus two other very old classic dimple designs of that era.
The entire set is a classic listing and the purchaser will have quite a conversation piece to show or display in a memorabilia room, bar or collectible for the golf enthusiast.
This is a unique listing and I have not seen any other "used" vintage clubs that look better than mine except those listed as new.
