    Description

    Up for sale is vintage Altec 417 B 12" 8 ohm speaker.  It's been freshly re-coned by speaker expert Alan Helms of DSR. It sounds just as it should.  The speaker some some wear cosmetically but is in much better shape than most I've seen.  The 417 B is one of greatest speakers ever made and is loved by guitarists as  upgrade speakers, Altecs were also used early Mesa Boogie and Dumble amps and by hi-fi enthusiasts.  They are similar but superior to JBL speakers.  I will double box and fully ensure the speaker when it ships.
