Description
This item is aright-handed
35" vintage flanged back blade style putter. Marked Wilson Wilson Designed By Arnold Palmer. Made right before Palmer left Wilson and went out on his own. This putter is all original and guaranteed to be from the early 1960's. Don't ever buy what a seller calls an all original Designed By Arnold Palmer from the 1960's putter that is anything but 35" long. People have been known to swap out shafts from other Wilson putters of the same era but the finished length comes out longer than 35".
Head is in pretty good used condition.
Head shows the expected minor play wear including nicks and dings. Still has much of the original frosting on the finish. Original Wilson Head Speed flare tip over the hosel steel shaft that is in good condition with Head Speed shaft band still present. This is an original foil shaft
and
and not one of those reproductions that are sold on eBay. Correct 8 3/8" first step in shaft with 3 1/4" subsequent steps. Four visible steps below the grip. Grip is the
original
Wilson fat paddle black leather wrap with silver piping. The leather wrap is in fair
vintage
condition and the plastic grip collar has been replaced by tape. Wilson Flags/Musical Notes butt cap intact but the flags have pretty much worn off. Overall a nice almost 60 year old putter.
Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. These are pictures of the actual club and not some bogus stock photos. Great putting putter.
S
hipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3 pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way UPS charges. On top of that, eBay and
PayPal
take almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of I receive .50) and I would like to break even.
eBay now collects tax for many states. I do not receive that money as eBay remits it directly to your state. Because of the high value there is a handling fee.
