    Description

    PLAYABLE OLD HEAVY TRAP STICK SAND IRON with HUGE FLANGE, 1930s
    Vintage Trap Stick Sand Wedge with Wide Heavy Sole
    . This is a playable old Trap Stick Sand Iron probably from the mid to late 1930s.  Wedge has the original steel shaft with pyratone sheathing and the original old leather wrap grip which is worn but still functional.  Punched dot face is in surprisingly good condition; the very wide and heavy sole shows typical sand wear.  Stampings on sole appear to be George Clayton, Biltmore Forest C. C. (Asheville NC), and Trap Stick.  Club measures approx. 36".  Please look at all photos for condition.  Club is in "as found" vintage condition.  Wedge is suitable for display or play.
