Spanner wrench is designed to
snug fit
(see first photo) your Genuine Blitz spout to keep it from leaking and also safely remove your spout reducing the risk of breakage because you are using the flex nozzle to turn it down tight or loosening.
Ever fill up your gas can in the morning cold? Then it warms up during the day...the gas cap is so tight from the expansion of gas. This tool will loosen your gas cap bung with ease!
This Jerry Can Spanner Wrench will also remove your gas can bung cap (or snug tight) with ease by slipping spanner over the tabs on the can's storage bung (see second photo).
The sole purpose of this spanner wrench is to LOOSEN or SNUG FIT the above mentioned parts. Using excessive snug torque may damage gaskets.

I use this spanner exclusively on Blitz brand Cans, Bungs, Spouts USMC 400034 and USMC 400033
BLITZ Spout nut measures 2-7/8" or 2.89 in. or 73.5 mm
*If your spout is stamped "TAIWAN" chances are nut size is too small. I have one Taiwan spout with 2-13/16 inch nut, fit is SLOPPY.
Wrench does not fit aftermarket Taiwan spouts correctly. Measure your spout nut diameter before ordering. Wrench does not fit old "dog ear" style bungs.
