Description
The original name of this type of tablecloths in Russia is "Настольник" or Nastolnik'. Roughly speaking, "what is put on the table".This is a small tablecloth, traditionally used in Russia only during the holidays. Most often, the tablecloth itself and the patterns on it were made independently by the mother and daughters of each family and did represent different styles, mood or theme.
