Dating from the late 1950’s to the early 1960’s, this very rare and unique binocular was ahead of its time by providing long eye relief so that people wearing eyeglasses could view the entire field of view. This particular specimen is in excellent condition and provides sharp, beautiful, flat-field images. Also way ahead of its time is the attached forehead rest that adds stability and reduces pressure on your glasses while observing. The high quality design also uses high index prisms for bright views across the entire field. Other than a few tiny specks, the internal optics are clean and free of chips, cracks and fungus. Focusing is also very smooth and one finger adjustable with no slop or backlash. There is also no double image. A great rare binocular for your collection, or even for practical daily use, this binocular will not disappoint. Comes with its original leather strap and case.
