    Description

    Folks this is a pair of
    Altec Model 292-8A (8 ohm) ALNICO drivers that will need rebuild
    . The cases are chipped and nicked so a good paint job is in order. There is some rust in the throat and by the diaphragm as seen in pictures so some rust cleanup is needed. Both drivers produce sound but 1 has a DCR problem for DCR measures 6.4 ohms in 1 and 18.2 ohms in the other, I would put in new diaphragms. 1 also has a broken terminal. Both do have the rubber gasket that couples to horn. The 292 cover gaskets will need replacement as seen in pictures. The Voice Coil gap looks true and even so there is no magnet shift. These are
    sold AS-IS for parts or repair with no returns.
