We have many customers who love the Berenguer dolls, but want one that is different than what everyone else has. We have been making dolls for over 30 years and decided to remake some of our Berenguers with the collector in mind. Thus "Cristy's Cuties" have become a reality in a few cases. In this instance, we added a flesh colored jointed body (with a bit of extra weight for flexability and reality) to the vinyl head and 1/4 limbs. We attached wispy lashes and a nice brunette baby wig. Then she received a mani/pedi to her little fingers and toes and a fresh diaper. Now came the fun part of shopping for the new baby!
We chose a new soft, silky set of footed pajamas for her, since she is sleeping. It has palest pink fabric with delicate pink and white roses and green leaves. It is trimmed with white lace and a white ruffled closure with snaps that goes all the way down the side of the front. The same fabric ruffle is featured in the back. We gave her the temporary name Addilyn after one of the granddaughters. She is about 20 inches long.
She will come home with her little bear and rattle. Since we made this doll, there is no original box, but she will be carefully and securely packed in a new shipper box. The blanket is a prop and will not be included.
