    Rare Bob Hope Persimmon Driver
    Made by John Ofer
    Up for auction is this one of a kind persimmon wood driver made for Bob Hope. This driver was made for Bob Hope by legendary club maker John Ofer. Ofer is famous in the world of golf for his Ofer 3 in 1 club but he was also known for making some of the best persimmon woods of any club maker. The persimmon blank was most likely made by Louisville Golf for Ofer's shop who then turned it into this club special made for Hope.
    Ofer built this club for Bob Hope out of his shop in Canton Ohio sometime around 1990 but due to health issues Hope never picked the club up. A patron of our course who frequented Ofer's golf shop saw the club and inquired about it being for sale. Due to Hope no longer wanting/ needing it the club was sold and it has been in our friend's possession since. He has given it to us to auction for him hoping it can be appreciated for many more years to come.
    The club is in good condition for the age. It shows some wear so please read the condition description and view all pictures before purchasing. I do not have any paper work for the club but if you have any questions I can do my best to answer them. Thank you.
