Offered for your consideration is one
3½ inch wide-range driver
. This husky little mid/bass woofer features a poly cone, permanent rubber surround, and video-shielded magnet structure.

This driver is in clean, excellent condition. The sturdy poly cone is flawless as is the large textile voice coil dustcap. And, the surround is permanent rubber so it will last indefinitely. There are some nicks and wear on the black-enameled basket, mainly at the mount holes, but that's about all. Also, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity (larger one is positive) and have never been soldered on the spades. All-in-all, it’s in very nice shape and should provide many years of great service.
Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds outstanding—very strong and clear with well-detailed midrange, good low-end output for the platform size, and its coverage of treble frequencies approaches full-range. Also, I tested the DC resistance at 7.9-8.0Ω, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the frame measures 3⅜” across (4¼” from corners), it stands about 2” tall, and the mounting holes are spaced 2 13/16” adjacent / 4” on the diagonal, c-t-c.
This is a great find for someone that has a blown 3½” driver in their suitable surround or center channel and will have your speaker sounding its finest once again in no time. Plus, it’s very ready for action in your next speaker-building project!
