Old Crow Bourbon vintage ashtray or shallow bowl or plate

I had to look up this brand to see if OLD CROW is still sold, and it is, using a Jim Beam mash that isn’t aged as long.  Hard to believe with so many selections of bourbon that we have now that it was the world’s most popular bourbon.
Perhaps the first intended use for this was a large ashtray, but those grooves don’t seem deep enough to hold cigarettes. But I can also see it as a nut dish.
It is 8-3/4 inches in diameter, about half an inch deep from the raised edge to bottom of the bowl.
No chips or cracks.  Good piece for your home bar.
