Nice Antique Vintage Hickory Spalding HH Schenectady Style Mallet Putter

This item is a 34 3/4" right-handed
playable hickory shafted putter. It is a Schenectady style mallet made of aluminum. Made by Spalding and it is their HH (Hammer Head) Model. N
ice finish on the head. It does have the expected play nicks and dings. No hosel cracks.
Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is the apparently original marked hic
kory.  It has a bend
, I see no cracks and it is tight at the hosel.
The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in good vintage condition. B 9 swingweight.
If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These old wooden shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts or heads against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old wooden shafted wood with a hard range ball.
Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3

box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of I receive .50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
