NHL NY Rangers Mike Richter 1990/91 vintage game used goal helmet mask

Incredibly rare game used Mike Richter goalie helmet and cage from 1990/91. The helmet is a Cooper SK 2000 with a Cooper HM 30 cage on it. The helmet shows great game wear and on the left side of the helmet there is a piece broken off most likely from a shot which is probably why Mike Richter switched to a goalie mask shortly afterward. The helmet has been customized by Richter by adding a removable sweatband and Velcro in the forehead area.  During 1990/91 both Mike Richter and John Vanbiesbrouck both wore the Cooper SK 2000 helmets so I wasn't sure who's helmet this was. I tracked down Beezer and showed him some photos of the sweatband inside the helmet and he said it was Richter's and not his.  There are RANGERS logos on the front and both sides of the helmets and the Rangers shield logo is on each side at the back. During the 1989/90 season his helmet had NEW YORK logos on the three sides of his helmet.
These items were obtained directly from the NY Rangers back in the early 1990's when myself and a former LA Kings trainer bought a trailer full of used equipment, practice jerseys, sticks, pants, etc from the team.
Mike Richter is one of the all time greatest players in NY Rangers history. He helped them in the Stanley Cup in 1994, he was a 3 time NHL All Star, inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Rangers retired his number 35.
