Some sellers sell "75 feet" of whipping or a "good sized roll". No reason to pay + for 25 yards of whipping or for a good size roll. On top of that, their whipping is 3 ply and covers 25% less area than the 4 ply whipping I am offering (so you are actually paying over 4 times as much for theirs). I have offered 3 ply whipping in the past (still have some available in another listing on Ebay) but my customers seem to prefer the 4 strand variety. This auction is for one spool of NEW waxed linen thread for whipping your antique golf club heads and grips. Great for restoration. Strong four ply construction. The weight is 50 grams and the manufacturer says it is 100 +/- yards (that is 300 feet-4 times what others sell and about the same price).
