Mid Century Speaker cabinets for Altec; JBL; Electro-Voice...

The listing is for one pair of speaker cabinets.
The dimensions of each cabinet are: 39" Wide; 20.5" Deep; 30.5" height with legs (included) and 24" if you decide to detach the legs.
These definitely must have been made for Altec Lansing drivers, possibly by Barzilay? They have the general form factor of Altec Capistranos. Notice they are mirrored, so the bass drivers when facing you would be on the outside edges, thus forming a baffle extension from the walls of the room!
These came loaded with  811B horns which have been sold separately, but I have another pair that I will be willing to sell separately.
I basically took  components from my Altec 846a (Iconic/Valencia) and they fit inside these like a glove, all the screw mounting holes were exactly in the right spots. They sounded fantastic, i mean truly breathtaking and did a much better job than stock Valencia cabinets (which are also available, and will be listed in a few days).
They could use some refinishing, basically some minor veneering on the front edges, but it never bothered me, as they are rather presentable by my standards.
But i am not going to pre-judge your taste. So please inspect the pictures and decide the condition for yourself.
Due to the size, they are available for local pick up only. However, if you would like to arrange your own shipping at your own expense, I am more than happy to out of my way to co-operate. I WANT them to go to good home for many years of music, just as i enjoyed them.
Imagine you can have a cool mid-century looking pair, just like the Capistranos for a fraction of the cost. Get some nice vintage grill cloth or leave them open as is, they look quite nice!
