    MACGREGOR EYE O MATIC WOODS VERY RARE PERSONAL MODEL. These are as rare as they get when it comes to Eye-O-Matic woods from the 1950's. These were custom ordered and have "HERMAN BARRON" stamped on the crown. "PERSONAL MODEL HB430" on the sole above the soleplate. I bet you haven't seen this set before as I sure have not. Herman Barron was a very famous tour player and was very respected in his day. I have a couple of his iron masters putters with his signature on them which Gil Morgan used all during his career on the PGA Tour. The photo in the line up shows Barron showing off his MacGregor irons to Claude Harmon (Butches Dad and the Pro at Winged Foot 33years) Each head sits perfect and has the original shaft and grip. Each head has beautiful grain and these could be played again today with no trouble. Restored recently and a super job. A great addition to any collection.
