LEFTY Antique Vintage Hickory Shaft Wilson Putter

This item is an antique vintage LEFT HANDED 34" wooden shafted putter. Blade style with off-set made by Wilson. The head is clean and not all rusted. It does have the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. It is straight, I see no cracks and it is tight (all hickory shafted clubs should be re-set prior to play). The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in fair vintage condition.
If you are considering playing with this club all hickory shafted irons should be re-set prior to play. While I see no issues with the shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These wooden shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball.
