Now, here is the real scoop, based on my purchasing this new and actually using it for my grandkids:
The beds are comfortable for children, with strong steel frames and nice fabric. I think they are much more natural and more like a real bed than inflatable beds. They are nice and big when used for children. They keep the children off the floor but not too high as a normal bunk bed. They are easy to set up with no tools.
I would not use them for someone who weighed 200 lbs, in spite of the mfr claim. I would stay below 100 lbs just to maintain the fabric seams, and the velcro seams around the pipes, but if the user could avoid abusing them they might handle more weight. I feel that these are best for younger children.
I did not like them set up as bunks, since the lower child could not resist poking at his sibling who was just a foot above them, and this led to fights as to who would take the top and all kinds of other commotion. We had room to separate them into separate beds and this worked out much better. But if you have limited room and better behaved children, they do stack.
