  • Condition: These work ok for me but I’m not a serious binocular guy. ●The eyepieces focus and the image looks fine ●Both focusing controls work ok●I see some dust/debris when looking through the front of the lensesbut this isn’t noticeable looking through the eye pieces. ●On theouter perimeter of an inner lens there is something that resemblesbubbles perhaps caused by an impact back in the day --- again thisisn’t noticeable looking through the eye pieces ●The leatherettecovering is scuffed just a little and there are signs of brassing andpaint loss.

    KERN AARAU Swiss Infantry WWII Military Binoculars 6x24 1928 Online research reports these were used by the SwissArmy during WWII.       These work ok for me but I’m not a serious binocular guy. The eyepieces focus and the image looks fine. Both focusing controls work ok. I see some dust/debris when looking through the front of the lensesbut this isn’t noticeable looking through the eye pieces. The leatherette covering is scuffed just a little and there are signsof brassing and paint loss. These came to me in a very special case that will bemade available in another auction.
