Offered for your consideration is a vintage
Infinity
part #902-4941
EMIT Samarium cobalt planar tweeter
removed from my high-end RS6 speakers, manufactured c.1983.  The 902-4941 EMIT is equivalent to the 902-5023 / 902-0484 and was also found in many Reference Standard models—RS III, RS III A/B, RS 4, RS 4B, RS 5, RS 5B, RS 6, RS 6B, RS 7B, RS 8, RS 8A—and possibly other Infinity speakers in the 1980’s.
So, please take a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this superlative high frequency driver is correct for your needs.

This EMIT is in clean, excellent overall condition. The metal faceplate has no scratches to the gray enamel and the orange script looks great.  Plus, the diaphragm is in great shape with just a bit of the typical light waviness.  And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this EMIT tweeter is exceptionally well-preserved!
Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds strong and clear up to the impressive
32kHz
-rated upper limit!  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 3.6Ω consistent with a 4 ohm nominal driver rating.  Lastly, the faceplate measures just over 4½” in diameter and the mount holes are spaced 2 15/16” adjacent / 4⅜” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
This is a great find if your RS6’s or other suitable Infinity model have an EMIT that’s blown or damaged and will have your speakers sounding fantastic again in no time!
