    Description

This listing is for a very uncommon Texas bitters bottle.  I know of only one other.  There is a short history of Dr. Dansby's Cotton Patch Bitters Co., Terrell, Texas on the internet.  The company appears to have  began business in 1888, and probaby did business for about 10 years.   The bottle advertises "DANSBY'S COTTON-PATCH BITTERS".  Note there is a dash between cotton and patch.   It stands about 8 7/8 inches tall, and is 2 3/8 inches across each side.  There are three sides with panels; one side is flat.  The bottle has four (probably more) bubbles with trash or air suspended in/on the glass.  There is a small flake off the outer edge of the lip.  Most, if not all, of the imperfections are evident in the photos. The bottle appears to have been dug, and left in an "as found" condition.    There are no breaks, cracks, chips or repairs other than what show in the photos or described in this listing.  A good bottle for a Texas bitters collector, or someone building a representative state by state collection.
Shipping is USPS Priority Mail, insured, with tracking.  The shipping fees reflect insurance charges, which are quite high.  Payment is due within 10 days, and Paypal is preferred.
