    Description

    This item is a 39 1/2" right handed antique vintage hickory shafted iron. Marked for the pro T S Gallop of Victoria GC British Columbia, Canada. Made by Burke. It is a low lofted cleek.
    The head is clean and in good vintage condition. Yes it has the expected play nicks and dings.
    Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. It is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. All hickory shafted clubs should be re-set prior to play. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in good vintage condition. 15* loft and a D 8
    swingweight for play.
    If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball.
    Shipping in the US is calculated for this item and based on a 2 pound box. The closer you are to me in NC (27712 zip) the less shipping will be.
