Antique Vintage Hickory Shaft MacGregor Schenectady Putter

This item is a 34 1/2" right handed hickory center shafted mallet putter. It is a MacGregor made Schenectady model. No model number and you don't see these very often. The head is in good vintage condition. No hosel cracks.
Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. It has a bend, I see no cracks, and it has some play at the hosel. All hickory shafted clubs should be re-set prior to play. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in good
vintage
condition. A C 1 swingweight for play.
If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball.
Shipping in the US is calculated for this item and based on a 2 pound box. The closer you are to me in NC (27712 zip) the less shipping will be. That is the way shipping works as it costs me more to ship a greater distance with all the carriers.
