Bottle ORIGINAL
In 1849, the brothers Adolf and Edouard-Jean Cointreau opened a distillery in the city of Angers. They started with the production of wild cherry liqueur (guignolet), but gradually expanded the line to 50 varieties. In 1875, the son of Edouard-Jean (also Edouard), created a recipe for crystal clear orange liqueur, which simultaneously used bitter and sweet varieties of citrus. Ten years later, he filed a patent for the name and shape of the bottle, by which it is easily recognizable today.
This bottle will be packed with care.
