    The grip is overwrapped with tennis racket grip tape. I play these clubs once per year on my birthday. All are at least 100 years old.
    The shaft and head are in good shape for the age. There are never any guarantees with hickory clubs against breakage so know that before you buy. Hickory golf is fun and the people who play hickory golf are welcoming. Im just too old to play these anymore.
