Antique Hickory golf club with W.T.E. mark Very Early Smooth Face vintage iron

Description

Antique Hickory Shafted Golf Club with a smooth faced blade.   The back of the blade is marked or stamped with the inititials W.T.E. and also the letter L.  The Hosel has deep pinch marks or nicks where the shaft enters the hosel that are somewhat irregular also pointing to an early model.  The original shaft wrapping is still there albeit a little loose near the top of the shaft.  There's some old  tape on the shaft toward the club head that is likely preventing  a small split  from getting worse. Please be sure to look closely at the photos I have provided as they represent in large part  my description of same.
