    Description

    This listing is for a smooth face gutty iron by Spalding.  It has a very thick hosel.  "SPALDING SPECIAL" is stamped on the head.  It is weak but visible.
    The head has been reset, whipping has been added to the shaft above the hosel for strength.  The grip is a new leather wrap, rough side out.
    It is 37 1/4" long.  The loft is 26* and the swing weight is E-8.  The shaft is not marked.  The sole shows evidence of play.
