    Description

    This is a smooth face general iron by ALEX PATRICK, Leven.  The style of this club clearly dates it to pre 1890s.  In the years prior to 1900 the Patrick family made mostly wooden clubs.  Many of their irons were made by Anderson.
    PATRICK is the only stamp on this club head and it is partially visible.
    This club has a solid and straight unmarked shaft.
    It is 37" long to the heel of the head.  It has loft of 30*.  The sw
    ing weight on this one is D-9.
    The head has been reset.  Whipping has been added to the shaft just above the hosel for strength.  The grip is a leather wrap, rough side out.  The sole shows some evidence of play, but overall this is a well preserved early iron.
    Put it in your gutty set right out of the box.
