    Description

    This listing is for a restored smooth face MASHIE by R. B. Wilson, one of the early iron club makers in St. Andrews.  It has Wilson's O K SPECIAL and R. B WILSON'S MASHIE stamped on the head along with his oval name stamp.  The markings are quite strong.  This is clearly a "deep face" style club.  The head has been reset and whipping has been added to the shaft above the hosel for strength.  The grip is a new leather wrap grip, rough side out.
    The club is 36 3/4" long.  It has a loft of 42* and a swing weight of D-5.  The shaft is not marked.  The sole shows modest evidence of play.
    Put this one in your gutty set right out of the box.  Buy with confidence.
