Altec Compression Drivers 909-8A Pair

Description

Here is one  pair of Altec 909-8A compression drivers. 8 ohm. I installed new Radian 1228-8 diaphragms about a year ago. These are in perfect working condition. I run these open back as they do not come with the backs. You can buy those from Great Plains Audio for about each if you want them. You can see in the pictures that I was using them on my 500Hz wood tractrix horns and the sound was to die for. I have never heard any other speaker system that had this in-your-face clarity and presence. I had them on Altec 511 horns before and didn't like them at all. Just too metal like and not smooth.
