    Description

    A "Used" MacGregor Tourney CF4000, M2, 11 Iron!  If you like to play, or collect intage golf clubs, you have found one to consider.  From the scarce amount of historyI could find on liine of this club, it is circa the 60's and 70's.  The CF4000 means the Club Face, and the Club Face has a sort of black coating on it for looks, as well as the ability to grip the ball.  CF4000, or Color Face, came after the old MacGregor Color Chrome clubs that had sort of a copper finish on the club face that supposedly did the same thing.  The club face is scuffed and had some discolored spots, but I cleaned it with denatured alcohol and steel wool and it came out, well as playable.  All the info I can find on the shaft is a sticker that says Tourney Action, but being a club used for a sand iron, it is mostly likely a Stiff Flex!  The Grip is a fairly old Golf Pride Velvet Cord, that could use a few scrubbings with saddle soap to liven it up, or maybe you'll want to replace it if you want to play with this club.  Club will be securely packaged and shipped USPS Priority Mail!
