    Description

    A MacGregor "Custom Tourney" Persimmon Head Deep Faced Driver.   Judging by the type of insert, this driver is a later model "Vintage" Driver.  The insert is the Red & White Keyhole plastic insert, with the 6 screw, 2 rows of 3 slanted pattern.  I didn't picture the sole plate, but it is the later standard MacGregor rounded H brass sole plate.  The Persimmon head has the original factory finish, with a very nice grain pattern, with a 9 degree loft bulge face, and you could play with this club if you wanted.  The shaft is a FibreMatch,  electronically frequency matched, seamless composite Graphite "Stiff" Shaft, made by Brunswick, and is 44 inches long with a Golf Pride Tour Wrap Grip.  The grip looks like wound leather on the top side and the bottom side is similar to the "Vintage"  MacGregor T, or Cord wrap grip.  Have you heard about the "Vintage" Style Golf Tournaments that have been popping up around the Country?  It's a tournament that the players use only wooden headed drivers and fairway clubs, and no cavity back irons to be played.  If your Club isn't having one, maybe you can start an interest in one.  Will be securely packaged and shipped USPS Priority Mail!
