    Description

    Offered is a vintage UTAH 4 Inch Hi Fi or Radio Speaker.  The speaker measures 4 1/8 inches in diameter. The mounting holes are at 4 11/16 inches measured diagonally across the speaker. Two extra mounting holes have been drilled at one edge, they are at 3 inches on center.  The voice coil measures about 3.5 ohms.  The speaker is one in the Utah Micro Gap series of Hi Fi replacement types.  It has a large magnet assembly.   Holes are provided for an output transformer. Old wiring has been removed and the wiring lugs are clean except for some residue-each is wirebrush cleaned. Suitable for Hi Fi replacement use or for a speaker system of your own design as a midrange or tweeter. Type: SP4D and 328149 indicating Utah (328) and late 1940's production (149).  NO RESERVE!!
