2 Antique Opera Glasses in Cases, Erker Brothers Optical Lemaire Paris St. Louis

2 Antique Opera Glasses, Binoculars,  in Cases, Erker Brothers Optical,  Adolph P. Erker,  St Louis, Missouri
These belonged to a St. Charles, Missouri couple born in 1870 / 1880.
The interesting thing about the larger pair is that the inside of the case reads, as typed below:

S,T LOUIS M
The eye pieces on this pair also read:
A.P. EPKER & BRO
ST LOUIS MO
The Epker instead of Erker could be typos, but they could also be very early pieces if Adolph later changed the name to Erker.
In any case, this seems to be very rare.
These are black and brass (?) that gives such a classy appearance - especially the detail in the bands.
The case is leather with blue satin lining that has a little band of velvet along the inside of the top of the bottom section.  As mentioned above, the inside of the top is stamped in gold with A, P. EPKER & BRO....
One side of the handle on the case has become unattached.
The smaller pair is all black and the eye pieces are marked:
LEMAIRE   PARIS
and
ERKER BROS. OPTICAL CO.
ST. LOUIS
These are in a similar leather case with the blue satin lining and velvet inner band.  The top of this case is missing the lining, but you can see the original wood and it has a name / address tag glued to it for identification purposes.  The gold zig zag design along the inside rims of the case is in very good shape for the age.  The gold has worn off of the zig zag design on the other case.  It features the Bee Clasp.
Both of these work; are very old; and have not been cleaned.
They are being sold as a pair to keep the provenance, especially with the Epker spelling vs. Erker spelling.
