    Description

    1949 Powerbilt 8990 DTC stainless steel irons 2-9 with a matching Powerbilt Sand Blaster sand wedge.   These were top of the line in 1949.  All original with True Temper regular flex shafts and original Golf Pride rubber and cork vulcanized grips, still in playable condition.   Classic stainless steel irons from this era have survived and still look great due to the durability of the stainless steel, no chrome to peel or flake off.   Also included is a Powerbilt Sand Blaster wedge with original black steel shaft and original leather grip.   A great set of irons for the classic golf enthusiast.
