    Description

    Replacement Electromagnetic speaker field coil
    static resistance 518 ohm, 2.1 Henry inductance
    It doesn't have to fit your speaker, you can just use it in your antique radios power supply as the inductor.
    Tested good field coil, the host speaker was damaged and not repairable. Use as a replacement, or put in your power supply circuit when replacing the original Electromagnetic speaker with a permanent magnet replacement. The field coil was used as a power supply inductor in most old radios to reduce hum, 2.1 henry is a goodly amount. Sometimes repairmen would just replace this coil with a resistor when installing a PM speaker, but that really doesn't maintain the same filtering result. So just find a place and mount this coil and attach it across where the Electromagnetic speaker field coil was connected. Or, if you have one of those radios they installed the resistor in, just swap this in for the resistor.
