Offered is this lovely set of 16 red holiday placemats and 15 matching red napkins purchased from the Oklahoma governor’s mansion.
We surmise these were used for family or official functions by the first family and later declared surplus.
These are easy-care linens that wash beautifully. We laundered one placemat and it came out of the dryer without wrinkles. These items appear to have been ironed, but we would not consider that necessary.
The synthetic fabric has a pattern woven into the cloth. The pattern is the same for the placemats and the napkins. We believe the fabric is the same for both. The design is evident on both sides of the napkins. The placemats have been lined with white cloth.
The placemats are rectangular. They measure 18 inches by 13.5 inches.
The napkins measure 19 inches square.
These table linens are in very good used condition. Occasional thread-pull on the napkins, but these are few and do not detract from their beauty or usefulness. We show one example of a thread-pull in the last photo.
One photo shows the placemat and napkin with a plate, flatware, and crystal. These accessories are for illustration only and are not included with the purchase. You are bidding only on the table linens, napkins and placemats.
The two sizes of red crystal goblets are listed separately. They too were purchased at the governor’s mansion.
